Of course, as it was a bog-standard mobile phone, and not one of those Vertu diamond-encrusted ones which someone tried to nick on the motorway this week, the reason it sold for so much was that someone had been a bid ham-fisted with the keyboard when making a bid and then been, quite frankly, a bit scared that both eBay and I would hold him to it...

I've just caught up with your blog today - feeling a bit lethargic after a long day at Ascot yesterday so I treated myself to a couple of lazy hours at work surfing the net. Talking of eBay, I'm about to put an 18 foot pool with heater, pump, cover etc up for sale. It was bought in a moment of madness last year at B&Q's sale but once home we realised just how big an 18 foot pool is! So if you know of anyone with a large garden....any effin stupid Portugese blokes out there?
ReplyDeleteYay! Am loving the Wolly and Worth sketch Ian. We want MORE! And the LastFM radio widget . . . may well have to 'borrow' that one! Yay! Keep posting Ian - or else what else will I do with lazy Sunday afternoons?
